Mobestar Holdings Plc (Lon:MONS) and BronzeDot Media have agreed a contract that will see the first delivery of a white label mobile dating solution to the US market. The service, MintDate, will be used to allow existing dating sites to enhance their customer experience by adding mobility and add revenue streams that could not be tapped into the typical online dating model. Bone Fish goes live with mCast, Mobestar's mobile marketing service
Mobestar Holdings (MOBS:LN) are pleased to announce the successful delivery and live running of mCast to Bone Fish Ltd, the world's first-ever provider of white label dating solutions (www.bone-fish.com). mCast is the first of a number of mobile marketing services that the company is delivering to a growing marketplace - a sector which is forecasted to reach over 800 million marketing consumers worldwide by 2012 via their mobile phones (eMarketer).
mCast is Mobestar's end-to-end mobile content distribution system which uses Mobestar's patented mobile delivery technologies. These technologies ensure that content is delivered to the users' handsets - fully-optimised for the device that they are using - and ultimately ensures that all users receive the best mobile experience possible. Furthermore, mCast has been specifically designed with content publishers and marketing companies in mind, to enable them to effortlessly and efficiently add a mobile channel to their communications in a variety of ways.
White label dating provider, Bone Fish Ltd works with mCast to deliver SMS notifications and alerts to opted-in members of their dating and networking affiliate sites. In this manner, members of the Bone Fish network who are subscribed to the mobile alert service receive immediate notifications when other members join the community that match their profile. As such, this feature allows members to beat the competition to the post by being the first to contact other potentially-compatible partners for a limited period of time, thus offering a more comprehensive dating package with higher success rates.
Mike Fitzgerald, director and co-founder of the Bone Fish programme and service said: "We are delighted with the early results that mCast has generated. We needed a system that would drive new users to our website via their mobile phones - and to date, the application has given us an unexpected conversion rate of over 12%. What's more, we are working with Mobestar to increase this figure and have no doubt that it will rise even higher by the end of the year."
Peter Richards, Mobestar's CEO, said "We are pleased to be working with Bone Fish Ltd and these early results are proof that we are delivering significant business benefits through the application of the company's mobile technology. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them."
